6 Brilliant Deep Cleaning Hacks For Your Home
1. Clean your microwave hack
Want to clean out your microwave in a very fast and efficient way? Do you also have lemons nearby? If so, then this takes no time at all.
Just cut a lemon in half, squeeze all the juice contents into a bowl, and then toss those lemon ends in the same bowl with half a cup of water. Place the bowl in the microwave for approximately three minutes. All the deep stains your microwave has will be of no more. Just wipe away all the grime in your microwave and presto it’s clean!

2. Clean your shower head hack
We all have showers to clean our bodies but what about the shower heads itself? Don’t worry there’s a simple way to clean it.
All you need is a zip lock bag, an elastic band, and white vinegar. Fill the bag with one part vinegar and one part water and wrap the bag around your shower head so your shower head gets fully immersed.
Attach the bag with the elastic band like you would a ponytail (so the bag stays put and doesn’t fall) and then leave it immersed sitting there for two hours. Once it’s all done just take it off and it should be clean and run with much better pressure than before.

3. Tackle Mildew smelling laundry hack
When it comes to doing laundry, laundry is not on a lot of people’s fun list (especially when it comes to mildew smelling laundry). To combat this, try to wash your towels and clothes after three uses. But if that doesn’t work, try this!
If your laundry still smells, then toss some white vinegar (half a cup) in the wash with your usual laundry detergent when you clean them. This should get out that overworn mildew smell in just one wash.

4. Get rid of bathtub mildew hack
This is a genius hack when it comes to not breaking your back while scrubbing off that mildew (that’s all-around your bathtub corners) or better yet having to re-caulk (which is way to much work!).
All you need is a cotton coil (here) and some bleach. Soak the cotton coil in bleach and place it all around the edges and corners of your bathtub (usually where the caulking goes) and press the coil in with your fingers (wearing rubber cleaning gloves ), then let set in overnight.
Once you lift the coils off the next day, rinse all the cracks and corners of the tub with soapy water and your bathtub mildew will be as good as gone!

5. Decrease odors in your sofa hack
If you have a fabric-covered sofa and it’s in need of a refresh? Then this hack does the trick.
First, sprinkle baking soda on the fabric so it will relieve odors. Use a good heap amount to cover all the surface area, as baking soda helps release smells and stains that are left in the sofa’s fabric. Let it set in for two hours.
Then mix together one teaspoon dishwashing liquid, one teaspoon of white vinegar, one cup of warm water, and one teaspoon of baking soda. Mix well and then grab a dry cleaning cloth. Dip the cloth in the cleaning solution and gently massage all the visible stains that you see.
Once you’ve elbow greased as much as you can, vacuum up the rest of the baking soda and allow the couch to dry to reveal a brand new and odor-free sofa.

6. Clean up your dusty lampshades hack
Usually, through time, lampshades collect all sorts of dust and debris…But that’s okay!
If you have a handy roller lint in arms reach, this will do the trick to clean up your lampshades. To combat those shades and to bring them back to new, use a lint roller to collect all that leftover dust by rolling it all over the dust and hair that you see. You’ll get dust-free lampshades in no time at all.
