Do you want to stop sitting on the sidelines with your life, and in turn, actually create it?

If you do, then you need to learn how to state your intention and let the universe do the rest.

Not only that but you’ve got to be really intentional when wanting to see your manifestations come to life, that way you can be the creator that you were born to be.

If you currently don’t have an active routine that includes setting daily intentions to manifest your dreams and goals, then don’t worry, you’re so much closer to learning how to do it.

Setting intentions is an incredible method to create and attract the life you want and it’s available for anyone who applies it.

Moreover, when you learn how to fixate on what you want for your future self, you’re not just concentrating on the things that truly matter but intuitively you’re actively centering your thoughts to move in the right direction to attract the things that bring you joy.

In fact, setting intentions on a daily basis is a natural process for creating your dream life, and *spoiler alert*, most successful people do this every single day!

Here are ten easy ways to set daily intentions to manifest what you truly want in life!

how to set an intention to manifest goals

1. Discover what you really want.

When it comes to actively creating the life that you want, setting an intention isn’t just this abstract idea.

You’ve got to persistently create something meaningful to intent to happen and then you have to work, breathe, eat, and sleep everything that you’re pursuing after.

So to discover what is most important to you, and what you would really like to manifest, discover what you really want in life.

Find creative ways of making what you really want to come to life. You can do this by discovering what brings you the most joy, what you need in terms of basic security, or what steps you need to take in order to have the intention be realistic.

And remember this when it comes to setting intentions to manifest your desires; you won’t follow through with your intentions if they don’t matter to you!

However, if you start listing out all of the things you need vs the things you want — typically, if you really need it to survive and lack having it, these would be considered good intentions to put a deliberate focus on.

Once you become crystal clear on what you need vs what you think you need, you’ll be on the right path towards manifesting what you want.

2. Work on your focus & create mini tangible goals to inch your way closer.

How to Set Intentions for the day - Work on your focus and your focus only

Now that you have your primary intention picked out (or at the very least have some sort of idea on what you would like to create), it’s time to work on your focus.

Focusing is what intentional manifesting is all about because “where energy goes energy flows” and without focusing on them, it just won’t happen.

This is why the second step to intentional daily manifesting is to deliberately focus all of your energy on what you would like the outcome to be.

Write it out, explain to yourself what you will need to do in order to attract it, and have the outcome and the final results crystal clear in your mind’s eye.

When you have a clear picture and vision of what you would like to attract in life, then it will make it easier for you to break your intention into mini tangible goals.

For instance, if you intend to manifest a lot of energy for the week, start focusing on what you can do to feel more energized.

For example, you could do deliberate things such as adding in a new fitness routine, doing a wellness trend from home, eating more energy superfoods, walking outside more, and drinking more water, which are all little tangible goals to see your intention through.

Or let’s say you intend to make more money in a week. If making more money is an intention you would like to set, then you will probably want to list out all the little or big things you can do to make that extra money.

Of course, these are just examples, however, if you deliberately focus on what you want to attract and make little incremental goals towards bringing your intention to life — you’ll be so much closer to manifesting them.

3. Keep your intentions brief & repeat them throughout the day.

How to Set Intentions for the day - Add action to your intention

When it comes to manifesting intentions, another little thing to always remember is to keep them at the forefront of your mind.

That way; a) you don’t forget what you are striving to manifest and b) it won’t be as hard for you to attract.

Additionally, if you keep your intention no longer than a short sentence or two (even better a few short words), you’ll be a manifesting pro.

For example, if you were to have an intention that involved self-care, then a great intention to sum it up perfectly would be “I intend to practice one act of self-care today”.

Or let’s say you wanted to finally clean up an area in your home that you’ve been meaning to do for months… Then a great intention for that would be, “I intend to clean my garage today”.

You can also set intentions for fitness such as, “I intend to do 30 squats after dinner today”, and so on and so forth.

Intentions (like the examples above) should be simple, brief, and to the point.

Furthermore, another great point when it comes to manifesting through intentions is to NOT make your intentions abstract such as, “I want to be a photographer” or “I want to be thin”.

When it comes to setting intentions, try to be careful saying the word “want”.  Doing so implies that you have a preference and that’s not going to be very effective because being abstract and vague will always give you a choice to opt out.

Instead, concentrate on motivational-based intentions such as, “I intend to take three pictures today” vs “I want to be a photographer”.

Keeping your intentions short and to the point, while not being vague, will make it even more possible for your intention to likely come true.

4. Create a ritual that States your intentions out loud.

Now when you are very clear and to the point, regarding the intentions you want to manifest, or if you have a rough idea of what little action steps you can take to get the ball rolling, the next best thing you can do to add more power to your intention is to address your intentions out loud.

Stating your intentions out loud is a powerful way for you to not only hear what your intention is but helps you form the belief that all things are possible.

Not only that but when you believe what you say, and it doesn’t sound weird when you say it out loud either, then you know you are onto something very powerful.

You can state your intentions when the coffee is boiling or when you’re pouring your first cup, whenever you do it is totally up to you!

5. Only share your intention with a good friend or family member.

When it comes to manifesting what we want out of life, social networking is another great way to fast-track an intention.

Although, when it comes to displaying our hopes and dreams, please beware if you are hesitant to tell anyone or if you would like to keep to yourself, there is no shame either way.

You really don’t have to tell anyone what you would like to attract or accomplish, however, if you do just make sure you’re sharing it with someone you wholeheartedly trust.

Expressing what you want to create/attract with someone else (other than yourself) and communicating it via a story that has added hope and faith has the wonderful ability to help keep you centered, make you more transparent about your objectives, and keep you accountable towards your goals no matter the timeline.

Your close friend should also be an advocate for you to change your mind if your intentions are not realistic.

And getting someone else’s perspective could help you obtain your intention all the sooner!

6. Keep an intention journal to make it more believable and concrete.

When it comes to manifesting what you want on a daily basis, it is strongly advised that you write down your intentions, so they have a higher chance of becoming more concrete and measurable.

Writing your intentions down, without leaving out any details, will also help you brainstorm any other great ideas that you need to bring to life and you’ll also have a good general understanding (once you see the little details written out) if your intention is something you should be aiming for.

Sometimes we think we may need something, but when we dig a little further, we find out that we just liked the idea of having it, so writing out all the little details and keeping an intention journal might give you a broader look at what you are getting yourself into.

7. Meditate on your intention to give it more energy.

How to Set Intentions for the day - Meditate on your intention

If you can, spend some time with your eyes closed, breathing, and focusing for a few minutes a day on your intention. Think for a couple of minutes and let it truly sink in.

Your mind has a powerful way of finding ways to bring your intents to life, and by letting your mind absorb it and really take it in, you’ll feel if it’s the perfect solution for your life.

Moreover, if you are focusing on all the little details, and making it feel as if it’s happening to you or that if it’s right there in front of you, all while meditating, the intention of yours has more of a chance to take form/shape later in life.

This is vital to practice if you would like to manifest things in life because this feeling alone can give you the power to make it a concrete belief, thus making it more attainable. Because if it feels right, then it’s a no-brainer that you should go after it!

8. Create an intention mantra.

Another great idea when it comes to manifesting a great life is not all intentions have to be goal-oriented, and you can also use them to change your thinking patterns!

For example, a great positive intention that can help bring more joy in life could be something along the lines of, “I intend to change every negative thought into a positive thought today,” or “I will be grateful for my job, my home, and my family today.”

The key to manifesting is repeating your mantra, so whether you have a positive intention or a goal-oriented intention, repeating it as a daily mantra helps ingrain it in your mind’s eye, and gets you one step closer to creating more joy in your life!

9. Set it free and let the universe work hard for you.

Now that we know that setting a daily intention can be both, how you want to feel for the day or what you’d like to accomplish throughout the day or week, both have to involve some level of passion and desire for a specific outcome.

Because if you lack some level of passion or desire for it, the universe won’t be able to help you out.

So ask yourself, what would make you BELIEVE that the universe will do the rest? Are you willing to accept that your intention might take a while? Do you think that having a little faith will help you take action?!

The universe has many ways of bringing what you want to fruition, but it will be so much easier if you BELIEVE it will happen for you.

And if it doesn’t happen for you, within the timeline you hoped for, please don’t lose hope.

The more faith you have, the better your results will be because the universe will work tirelessly on your behalf if you let it.

You just need to let it free and believe that there is something else, bigger at work, that is working tirelessly on your behalf to get it to you!

10. Celebrate your progress and repeat it every day.

Don’t forget to look at how well we’re doing along the way, what you’re actively creating and achieving on a daily basis (to meet our goals), and always celebrate your progress as you create more intentions.

Because at the end of the day, when it comes to manifesting the life that we crave, with whatever the results or the timeline, if you continue to celebrate yourself, you’ll be so much more excited and inclined to live life with intent!

There you have it! You can live the life of your dreams, just know, that you do have to put the work in.

Follow through with your intentions as much as you can but be kind to yourself, make sure you write out what you want, and have a little passion to back them up. You’ll start getting the hang of things once you start seeing great results!
